WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR FIRST APPOINTMENT

At Rihlapfu Dental Practise, we make procedures quicker, less painful, and more effective than ever before. We understand that going to the dentist may be a stressful experience for you. To answer your questions and put any fears to rest, we schedule a consultation where we show you the office, let you meet the doctor and his team, and set aside extra time for you to talk to the dentist before you start any treatment or procedure.

Your initial consultation is specifically designed for you to discuss your dental health goals. We encourage you to take this time to ask any questions you might have regarding your smile and any dental health concerns. It’s possible that perhaps you may not be sure of what procedure you want or need in order to improve your smile and overall oral health. Therefore, Mr Rihlapfu will take the time to sit down with you and explain the options that are unique to you.

Regular Check Up

Every examination includes a Basic Periodontal Examination (BPE) to diagnose any gum or periodontal disease and assess how successful your cleaning techniques are. Your BPE score will determine the gum treatment you need; this can range from cleaning instruction and a “scale and polish” to more extensive diagnosis and treatment, in the case of advanced gum disease.
